Effective date: July 30, 2026 (previous version: July 17, 2026)

Operator: the individual developer of the CrateCore service

1. What counts as user content

In CrateCore, user content includes:
- collection and wishlist records;
- notes on releases;
- grading, price, purchase date, comments;
- import CSV files;
- the audio chain profile;
- the profile name;
- your own photos of records and cartridges (stored only on your device);
- support requests and complaints.

User content is not a public social feed. It exists for the user's personal catalog and synchronization.

Collection user content (collection and wishlist records, notes, grading and price, import CSV, your own record photos, the matrix number) is created only in a registered account: these features are unavailable in an anonymous session (Terms of Service, section 3).

2. Your rights

You keep the rights to your content. You grant CrateCore a limited right to store, process, synchronize, display, export, back up, and delete this content to provide the service.

3. What is allowed

You may use CrateCore to (collection features — after free registration):
- keep a personal vinyl collection;
- take notes on your own copies;
- import your own CSV;
- store your preferences and settings;
- add your own photos of your physical copies.

4. What is prohibited

It is prohibited to enter, upload, or transmit through CrateCore:
- unlawful content;
- content violating copyright, related rights, trademarks, image rights, or third-party privacy;
- other people's personal data without a legal basis;
- secrets, passwords, tokens, private keys;
- malicious code or files intended for attacks;
- spam, mass automated uploads, scraping, or attempts to bypass limits;
- defamation, threats, harassment, discriminatory or extremist materials;
- child sexual abuse material or any material related to violence against children;
- content that can disrupt the service or violate App Store / Google Play rules.

5. Copyright and images

You must hold rights to the images, texts, and files you add. If you add a photo of a record, it must be taken by you or used by you on a lawful basis.

Do not save into the service images from Discogs, marketplaces, blogs, social networks, or other sources unless you have the rights. An image being on the internet does not mean it can be used.

6. CSV import

The CSV must be your file or a file you are entitled to use. Do not import other people's databases, scraped datasets, or commercial catalogs where that violates their terms.

The CSV file is used only for the import and is deleted automatically after completion, no later than 24 hours.

7. Moderation and measures

If we discover a violation or receive a complaint, we may:
- remove or hide the disputed content;
- restrict account features;
- block imports or requests;
- suspend or terminate access;
- retain technical data needed for the investigation;
- report to the competent authorities where required by law.

8. Complaints and appeals

If your content was removed or restricted, write to legal@cratecore.app with the subject "User Content Appeal". Include the account e-mail, a description of the content, the reason you disagree, and proof of rights if the dispute concerns copyright.

9. Privacy

User content is processed under the Privacy Policy: https://cratecore.app/privacy/en/. We do not use your notes, collections, CSV, or photos for model training and do not sell them to third parties.
